Seclusion of Self

"Main, aur meri tanhayi, aksar ye baat karte hain..."

I gave you a clue about this Blog post in the 'Day of Discussions'. Yes, it's about taking a little time to sit alone, and think over on the issues which are in your mind. When you browse through the dictionary, the word seclusion will mean Privacy, Quiet, Isolation, etc. Sometimes, it becomes necessary to isolate our self from a crowd, to create our own space. While it is done by your will most of the time, sometimes it happens on its own. You might have observed it when you hang out with your large group of friends, or in any team. You might feel alone even in a crowd. That time, you feel the necessity of your privacy or a few moments of solitude. That's seclusion.

Right from our childhood days, we have been hearing about the power of meditation. Well, I'm in no mood to teach you that, because when you feel secluded, you are partially in a state of meditation. Next time when this feeling runs through you, just observe, your eyes will automatically get fixed to any object in your view and your mind will start juggling the thoughts. So, what's so special about it? The answer is, seclusion, or the feeling of isolation lets you to think and analyze a lot of issues. These issues may be regarding your personal, professional, or social life. When you think about them, you talk to some of friends who are always with you, within you. They are your mind, heart and soul. There is a friend within. Trust me, you will feel relieved when you think about the issues and ask questions to yourselves and search for the answers on your own. It makes you independent too.

So my pal, don't get lost in a crowd. Realize yourself. Look within you. There is a lot to be discovered. Find a little time to sit alone, free up your mind, feel the breeze, breath deep, wear a smile, and start thinking...
